Throwback Game

Here's a glimpse at the 2007 edition of the Comer Tigers. Comer was led by first year head Coach David Norred and his Power Wishbone offense.  This was a heartbreaking loss to the Lafayette Bulldogs in week 7. Comer was in control of the game when Lafayette converted on a long 4th down, only to have it called back by a penalty. Then on the next play, on 4th and even longer, the Lafayette QB found a WR for a TD. Comer took the ball and drove the length of the field with only a couple of minutes remaining, however, a holding penalty inside the 10 yard line would be too much to overcome. Key players for the Tigers this year were #10 John Crowe, #2 Deangelo Mainor, #25 Greg Knight, #17 Del Franklin, #46/67 Cody Duffee, #75 Michael Cooper, #66 Chris Daugherty, and #14 Ashton Cohill.
